Pukaki Downs - Rural Master Planning.

Pukaki Tourism Holdings Limited (PTHL) engaged us to help in preparing and lodging a submission on Plan Change 13 which resulted (after a Section 293 application was made) in the rezoning of the land to the Pukaki Downs Tourism Zone.
We assisted in policy planning advice, preparing submissions on behalf of PTHL on Plan Change 13 of the Mackenzie District Plan.
After several appeals, the Pukaki Tourism Zone on Pukaki Downs Station and the relocation of a 50-hectare rural residential zone were approved by the Environment Court.
We also worked with PTHL on resource consent applications to implement the Pukaki Tourism Zone provisions. Resource consents included the establishment of the Pukaki lavender farm and commercial and retail activities.
